Claire Johnson, Intern
Claire believes striving to understand your story is one of the most courageous things you can do. She approaches therapy with collaboration and compassion to help individuals explore the full range of their human experience. Claire uses a variety of techniques with a psychodynamic and person-centered orientation, and she credits the therapeutic relationship as a key component of change.
She is currently in her second year of her Master of Arts program in Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University. As a certified yoga instructor, she is happy to incorporate breathing techniques and yoga philosophy into therapy, which can have incredible grounding capabilities. She is passionate about the mind-body connection and is in constant awe of the resilience of the human spirit. Together, we can work through what is bringing you to therapy and live in the most authentic way possible.
